A Fellow Podcast Fan Scared Me Half to Death!

Podcast fans are EVERYWHERE!

So, I'm outside watering my plants and pulling some weeds and stuff. I rigged up one of my computer speakers so I could listen to a podcast while out on my patio. I see the mailman come and give him a wave and go back to plant tending, out of the corner of my eye I see him just kinda standing in my driveway...then he walks away, I'm still working on one droopy plant and all of a sudden I hear behind me... "IS THAT PETE?!" and I about fall off my deck! He scared me half to death, but I have now found out my mailman is a Podcast fan! :rotfl: He said he listens to the podcasts all the time on his route and he just couldn't believe it when he heard Pete's voice coming out of my house. Even more hilarious, he acted like he was meeting a celebrity because he remembered my email the crew read a couple weeks ago, he said he was listening and was so surprised to hear someone wrote in from Willoughby, Ohio and then he goes "And, wow, I can't believe you are on my route!" :rotfl2: I showed him the podcast pin I got and he was very impressed. Sorry to anybody out there who might be on his route and got their mail late today because of me! :teeth:

It was cool...after my heart stopped pounding! :laughing: It was so fun to talk to another fan IRL! He and his family usually go to Disney the first week of March, but are thinking of going for a few days the week after Thanksgiving this year too. We talked about how we much we miss Bob and laughed about John's new background music and how his wife is dying to try The Wave now after Kevin's review.

I wear my DIS Unplugged shirt quite a bit (usually when I'm out walking) and keep thinking someone is bound to notice it and mention they are listeners as well. I even wore it when we were at the Daytona 500 back in February because I knew there were some people from the boards going...but no luck. Oh well, one of these days!
