Hi Everyone! :flower3: I'm not new to the Dis but new to the DISigns board! I'm getting married in WDW in April 2010 and really want to make my own disigns for shirts, etc! I have Photoshop 7.0 (i think that is the version). and haven't used photoshop in a few years (back when we had version 5.5) and am having a complete mind blank on how to edit some images! I've tried looking up some tutorials online and using the help menu but i have a hard time understanding their lingo, i'm a visual learner. I get confused very easily with paragraphs and paragraphs of directions. Anywho, these are two examples of the pic i was trying to edit.

This one i've attempted to use the eraser on...

I really want to get rid of the moon and everything else (so I have just Mickey and Minnie sitting on the bench) My question is... is there an easier, cleaner way to do without using the eraser? i can't seem to find my instruction book and feel really stupid asking this basic question. Hope I explained my situation clearly. TIA! :flower3:

I use "magic wand" and adjust the "tolerance" if needed.

So.. for example. First, I click with the magic wand. and it will take away an area. But, if I find it takes away TOO much, I adjust the tolerance to a smaller number, and it will take away less.

I use paint.NET but, I think any program would have the magic wand and tolerance level.

Thank you! I was able to zoom and use the magic wand tool easier! :thumbsup2 it had only been pulling itty bitty chunks. :confused3
