Never planned trip before.... please help!

I apolagize if I post this in the wrong area. I am still getting the hang of this. I am in need of some help. I have been to WDW several times when I was younger but this is the first time I am planning the trip. I have a general idea of what I should do but if anyone has any suggestions or tips I would greatly appreciate it. This is my husband's first trip since he was 3 years old so I want it to be perfect. I am looking to go 10/21/08 till 10/27/08. Thank you in adance for your help!!

Well, congrats on your trip. Probably the first thing you need to figure out is your budget. You know what dates you are thinking about so next you need to know how much you would like to spend. From there you can decide which resort is for you. Honestly, I think they are all wonderful so you really can't go wrong. After you figure out a budget you can start planning an itinerary. This is an important part because the parks are so huge you need a game plan. Hope this helps!!!

I know with myself I generally pick out my dates first, then I figure out which resort, then I figure out where I want to eat... It all seems to fall into place from there..
