Anyone ever stayed here. Someone was telling DH about it and I just looked it up on the internet. Would like to see some more pictures. At $80 a night for a 2 bedroom deluxe, seems like a great deal.
TIA

Have not stayed at Barking Sands-however i have stayed at Bellows and Barbers Point-visited Wainiae (its called something else now) and the Hale Koa-all on oahu-and Kiluea Military Camp on the Big Island-they are all great-wonderful locations-Bellows has one of the best beaches in the world and its only open to the public (non-military id card holders) on the weekends. The Navy-who own Barking Sands-have some pretty serious rules when it comes to booking stays so you want to read those carefully-and realistically-they book up except for certian slow periods of the year so you have to plan about a year in advance of when you want to be there.

Thanks, I did a search and found some pictures of the beach and the outside of one of the cottages but no inside pictures. I also checked out their cottage policy, being NG I think I understood it to say we couldn't book until 4 months from arrival date. Looks like a nice place to stay if you just want to rest and relax but a bit of a drive if you want to see anything else.

I'm on O'ahu and have stayed at Bellows, Hale Koa and just stayed at KMC last week but we haven't done Barking Sands. I've heard it's quite isolated but very pretty.
