Add to that list, Band Aid brand Blister Block. Comes in a small stick, very easy to carry and helps immensely.

Gold Bond and Blister Block for the itchie/owwies in WDW!!

my mom uses baby powder........... but in theory great product!:goodvibes

even if you might leave a powder trail behind you, at least Hansel and Gretel can find there way now

I use to be a baby powder type of gal. Prior to my last trip I picked up a small bottle of Gold Bond since there was no baby powder in the travel size bins. Loved it! I find it keeps the feet drier and I like the smell more then baby powder.

of all things... and this is on topic even. At TSC (tractor supply store), yes I have known to be a red neck, they have something called "anti monkey butt powder"

it is like gold bond with a little different formula.

Go figure, WO, you'd have to steal my secret. Our local Farm and Fleet sells Anti Monkey Butt powder, and I just couldn't resist. We have a bottle under our bathroom sink.

You use it so that, unlike Gravy Train, you don't make your own gravy. :thumbsup2

The Monkey butt stuff and Goldbond are both great for chaffing. For those of us not built like super models and are a little fluffy, the fluffy will rub and chaf and it can be painful. The powder works a lot better than regular baby powder IMHO. ::yes::

I'm on the fluffy side, DH not so much. I've never used anything, but he uses it. Walking around a lot at work, sweating (because he doesn't have a desk job). It just keeps it all dry :)

DH says he likes to use corn starch because it makes a good gravy afterwards. YUCK!

of all things... and this is on topic even. At TSC (tractor supply store), yes I have known to be a red neck, they have something called "anti monkey butt powder" LOL, I always use that phrase with my patients who I know will be able to handle it. I'm not the only one. Well, we actually call it "baboon ***". "Monkey butt" is more appropriate, I suppose, but "baboon ***" is more specific and everyone gets it immediately. :) I've heard other doctors and nurses use it, but the first time I heard it, I heard it from a high school football coach.

I like the Gold Bond foot stuff. I don't know what they call it exactly. It's the blue bottle. :)

The only thing that gives me real problems at Disney is the back of my ankle rubbing on my new shoes. I steal Tegaderms from the hospital and use them and it isn't an issue. :) It's like Saran Wrap, only one side sticks to your body. When you get an IV and they put that little plastic Saran Wrap thingy over it, that's a Tegaderm. Well, Tegaderm is the 3M brand name. Other folks make it and call it other stuff...but most people call all of them tegaderms like most people call all Q-Tips a "Q-tip". :) If you have that problem and know a nurse, have her grab you a few. :)

LOL. Agree.

Also, just FYI for chaffing. Using a roll on or stick deodorant on the chaff area will relive and eliminate a good bit of the pain. Keep a travel size in your backpack at WDW.

Go ahead and laugh at me, but try it next time.

You will be singing me praises.

Or you could buy stuff called GLIDE, it's made for athlete's to prevent chaffing. They sell it at sporting good stores. It's also good for the beach if you like to boogie board...it keeps the sand from piling up in the suit and causing problems. It's always in our suitcase for Disney trips.

My ds(14) calls it crotch deodorant!! Can I type that here??? I guess I just did.

Now this sounds a lot more "comfortable" than
using Gold Bond in those "oh so sensitive areas". Made the mistake of not thinking about the active ingredients in Gold Bond and gererously sprinkled it in areas no seen by the sun
Let's just say I thought I was on fire :furious: and not in the way one would want to be :scared1:

I swear by "Body Glide" for trips to WDW and Disneyland. Never leave home without it.:thumbsup2
