Okay, I know I promised I'd stop whining after chemo was over, but it's not my choice that I'm still going thru some rough stuff. You don't have to reply or read, I know ya'll are there for me whenever, wherever. I just need to let this out.

I'm frustrated with my doctors up here. I thank God everyday he led me to the wonderful team of doctors in Philly, without them I'd be dead.
Anyway, you know I've been having weird pains lately. It's at the top of my fibula. My main ortho thinks it's 1) Bursitis 2) Inflammation 3) Scar Tissue. However, he didn't have my x-rays so he couldn't diagnose me. He said to see the ortho up here and see what he says. Well, we saw him today.
This guy knows nothing. He's NEVER seen a knee replacement before. WTH? You're an orthopaedist and you've never seen a joint replacement? It gets better. My mom and I were telling him what happened, and what the pain was like. Meanwhile, he was looking at the x-ray, and after we told him everything he looked at us like we has 3 heads. Mind you, he is the doctor who originially found the tumor! He has no clue. He even said this, but said he would talk to my main ortho to decide something. Meanwhile, he wants to send us to another ortho about 1hr. 45 minutes away. Both me and my parents decided, if we have to travel that far, might as well go to Philly and have my doctor who knows my case solve the problem. (We wanted to go to the local dr. for the little things like aches and pains, but he clearly has no clue.)
Now, I may have to have another surgery to go in and look around my knee to try to find the problem.

And I got my hearing aids. I swear to you, my next ones will be the invisible behind-the-ear ones. Not the flesh coloured in-the-ear ones. They're too dang frustrating and don't make much of a difference.

Ugh.
Vent over. Thanks for listening.

Ohh, Sonya, hon :(

If you wanna talk to me about hearing aids, PM me. I have 12, nearly 13 years of experiance with them! I have the in-the-ears colored kind, and they work for me...maybe because I was born with the loss and have had a few surguries? Anyways, they're no big deal!
