So...
In a few weeks me and my family are going to Virginia on vacation.
Of course, we will go to Virginia Beach and everything.
But we are also going to Busch Gardens.
I have high expectations, but not as high as I did when I went to Disney World.
If anyone has been there, please tell me what to expect.
Are the rollercosters good? [I am a rollercoaster freak.]
Is it nice or somewhat... not nice..?

I went a few years ago... I can only remember this roller coaster "The Big Bad Wolf" It was fun but I remember it shaking our heads around and leaving some of us with headaces. If you do go on let me know how it was.

The rollercoasters are pretty sweet.
Apollo's Chariot messes with your mind. It seems like you're climbing the first hill FOREVER, it's ridiculously high. It's pretty sweet.
It's no Disney, but it's really nice.
Think EPCOT World Showcase Pavilion WAY WAY watered down.
Just the whole different countries and gardeny feel.
Have fun!

I've never been to Busch Gardens but I've been to Williamsburg and I've been told that the roller coaster are quite amazing. I only wish my dad would have not kept on saying "We went WDW last week so why should we go to Busch Gardens, I mean Williamsburg is so educational and quite interesting" if he would have not kept saying it my mom would have bought the tickets. But I've also been told its themed to Collonial time like Williamsburg and is very European.

You will have a blast! The park has so much to offer between the rides, shows, animal attractions and dining options.
Booking your tickets online is really easy, I would recommend doing that and when you buy the parking pass online, you get 10% off.
I am also a rollercoaster freak! You can read up on all the rides here: http://www.buschgardens.com/BGW/ar_rides.aspx
I work with Busch Gardens Williamsburg, so if you have any questions as you are preparing for your trip, let me know!

The park has many excellent rollercoasters. Theyre all amazing, especially Apollo's Chariot. However, their shows in my opinion lack entertainment, unless you enjoy irish opera and dancing.

The theming isn't anywhere near disney good, but the coasters are more intense and scary. I haven't been in about 3 years, but I lived up around there when I was younger, and I remember loving it. Big Bad Wolf was my first roller coaster. There's also Apollo's Chariot, Loch Ness Monster, and a few others that I can't remember.

I went to Busch Gardens Williamsburg on Friday and had a blast! Their newest roller coaster is the Griffon - K-Shong99, as a roller coaster freak myself, I loved it - its my new favorite! It brings you to the top and before you go down the drop, it holds at a 90 degree angle for a few seconds - its awesome! Definitely sit in the front row!
