AFI top 10 greatest animated movies--Disney dominates

Disney dominates with 9 out of 10 (only Shrek at #8) makes the list. I am counting the two Pixar movies as Disney.

Interesting.
For historical reasons I can see putting Snow White #1; but I believe Pinocchio is superior overall.
Of course, it's all subjective; I can't really argue with anything on that list.

These kinds of lists are always so subjective. It's a great list overall, but I would have liked to have seen Little Mermaid on there because it really ushered in a new wave of excellence in animated films that has continued since then. I wonder how the list would change if they had just made the category children's movies, since the list is all kids (or kids at heart) movies anyway. Are there any live action films that could crack the top ten? Maybe Darby O'Gill and the Little People? Hee-hee.
