50 Primetime-what can you say average food, but alot of fun and a favorite of DD. I think lunch/dinner menus are similar. We had Fried chicken, Fish Sandwiches and Milk shakes-all OK. No desserts which looked good coming by. A must try for the themeing and ambiance.
Yak And Yeti-Looked forward to trying this new eatery. Loved all the appetizers (dim Sum basket, Lettuce cups and egg rolls); DD liked the glazed ribs, I thought average. DW and I found Chicken lo mein very bland . Service was attentive. Pretty expensive for lunch for three $92.00 w/ only a 10% AP discount on entrees only($3.80) . Stick with the apps for a nice A/c break when at Ak and save a few bucks, by skipping entrees.
Coral Reef- First time back since our first WDW visit some 7 years ago. Read alot of recent good reviews and was anxious to try. Could not fit into dinner schedule, so lunch it was. I had avery nice Mahi Mahi, DD a chicken ceasar(very strong dressing-I liked , but too much for DD and DW), DW had lobster soup-rich and tasty. And BBq salmon "sandwich" really pretty good. Service was good amd bill$80, incl tip. I thought worth the trip , but probably not on the agenda for next couple of trips atleast. Fish tank is cool and worth the try initself, coupled with above average food.
Forgot to mention, we dont use any dining plan, but have always found the DDE (20% on food and wine) to be our best bet. Next post Dinners-incl. Yachtsman Steakhouse.
