I didn't see a thread for last week or this week, I figure Jackie is busy getting ready for her trip to the World.
Well last week I gained 1 lb. Not to be unexpected. I don't know anyone who just continually loses if they haven't had surgical intervertion. I know the group lose was over 170 lbs. If everyone wants to give their total lose, I will add it all up and we can keep going. My net lose right now is 16.8 lbs.
Keep going everyone.

Well, I was weighed in last week and my trainer has set my goal at 50 pounds in 9 months! But we only seem to weigh in once a month...i'll try to weigh in at least once a week on the scales at the club so that I keep it consistant!
I'm very excited!! I've been going to the gym every week day after work and doing at least 30 minutes of cardio. I meet with my trainer tomorrow for my actual program. He'll show me how to use the weights, etc and then set up a program for me.
For inspiration, i've gone back and downloaded old podcasts that talk about disney cruise line in general. Can't wait for the podcast cruise only podcast!!
Keep it up folks!! We can do it!!

Well, I worked out today doing my favorite exercise class. It's called Body Pump, using barbells and working the entire body. I am exhausted. I wish they offered the class at additional more convenient times. The only really convenient one is on Wednesday after work. What is everyone else doing for their work outs?

Lost 1 pound this week, getting really close. Might be a bad week next weigh in however since I was at Disney all week :-)

My total is 10.5 pounds so far. It is a little slow but still I am at it. Some family drama this week so exercise is in the toilet.

I was down 1lb this week. That's two weeks in a row that I've lost (which is great for me lately!). I'm hoping to have positive results next week as well since I've been doing some really labor intensive spring cleaning in addition to my 5mi walk each day. Keep your fingers crossed for me as I am currently 2lbs away from my elusive 50lb goal. I'm gonna do it!!!

while I am not tracking my weight, my shorts are loose to the point that with out a belt I could easily be embarrassed... ok, so I wouldn't be embarrassed, but my shorts would fall off with out a belt.

Still no change for me at least weight wise...BUT event have finally come along and burst my stress balloon allowing the happy confetti to be free again!pixiedust:
Could this be the trigger that will move my lard butt off the plateau????
Time will tell. I would love to say that I am working out today, but I can't stop sneezing. Not little delicate sneezes either. Earth shaking, echo through the house, cat running for the hills, make me fall over sneezes.
I hate pollen.
I am glad to see that others are still making progress!!! :woohoo:
Way to go!

Look on the bright side -- those humongous sneezes must be burning some calories. Consider it nasal aerobics!

Becky,
Yes, I go to Gold's. It is a very good workout. You can decide what amount of weight you put on your barbell. I started out with just 1 kilo on each end. I have worked my way up to 2.5 Kilos on each end. It works the entire body. Back, legs (squats and lunges), arms (biceps and triceps, pushups) and abs. They use fast music to keep things going and the trainers are very helpful. And there are times that I have to stop for a couple of reps, but they don't make you feel like you are slacking. And different trainer will do some things a little differently. For a person who doesn't like exercise I have gone out of my way to take this class.
Go for it Becky.

I have been totally off the Weight Watchers program for the past 2 weeks. I had weigh in today and I was up a total of 4.6 lbs including the 1 lb I was up last week. Back on program this week.

Found this tonight -- https://apps.healthvault.com/routetracker/dashboard.aspx
You can choose a virtual route via google earth and then "walk" it by tracking your results (free) online. I did have to sign up for a Microsoft HealthVault account (also free). I'm walking (virtually) to Disney World! :cool1:
