Hi. Has anyone done this and do you use manly paper instead of pink and girly?
My brother is seperated from his wife:sad1: and they have three beautiful daughters, twin 5 year olds and a 6 year old. Since my brother lives so close, I babysit and see the girls alot, so that means ALOT of pictures.
I also have extra black 12 by 12 album I would love to use for him.
No special occasion, just because ( I think that I feal sorry for him alot)

I made a book for my dad a couple years ago for Christmas. I used manly colors on most of the pages but I did through in a couple purples and stuff on pages that it worked with like my wedding page and stuff. I had pictures from through the years so I kindof went off of those.
I would think that you could use whatever you have and like and he will love it.

I think that since you are making a book for him of his 3 Daughter's that it's perfectly fine to use 'girly colors' in it! I'm sure he's used to seeing a lot of pink! lol

I've done a heritage book for DH and used what seemed appropriate - a lot of pics were from the 1970s so I used 1970s papers for that. Some pages are pinkish (for his female cousin) and others aren't. As said above, with girls he'll be used to pink ;-)

I did a small book for my brother last year for his birthday. I used whatever colors were appropriate to go with the pictures.

Scrap them to match the pictures, not the receiver. If it's pics of his daughters, use girly stuff to match.

I think you can use the girly stuff inside, just use a manly or neutral color for the album. Try to go less girly when he is in the picture.
