We love all of the DVC properties, which is why we're having such a hard time deciding where to stay.

We will be a group of 8 (5 adults, 2 kids, 1 infant). We've got a 2BR booked for April '09 at OKW. However, my parents will be with us and OKW is the only DVC resort they've stayed at, so we're thinking we may want to try somewhere else. Also, my parents are big fans of the Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot.

OKW is great for space, but we've been there, done that, might want something new. So, I'd love to hear where you would stay and why.

Thanks!

BWV is larger, but doesn't have any dedicated 2 bedrooms, and BCV only has about 25 dedicated 2 bedrooms with 2 Q's and so you're not likely to get one at 7 months.

If the bed scenerios "work" for you, 1Q and a pull out in the 2nd bedroom, then try an Epcot Resort. There's nothing like being able to walk back to a room after enjoying the F&G! Walking back after Illuminations, not waiting for a bus is very special too! We only go to Illuminations when we're staying at Epcot, except in December, that is.

At 7 months, during Spring Break time, I suppose BWV will be the one you're most likely to get.

I'd stick with OKW for the size of your group. King sized bed, two queen sized beds, one queen sized sleeper sofa. Plus so much more room than the other DVC villas. Wait to try other resorts with a smaller group.

I would say stay with the OKW ressie for a group of that size. You will definitely be more comfortable. As for a different experience...You can always go visit other resorts for dinner. We like to do that each trip anyway. If you really want the best stay with the most difference, get an AKV GV at Jambo.

I'd recommend one of the Epcot resorts, especially if walking is an issue. From the Epcot resorts a boat can be taken to the back gate at Epcot, which is much closer to the World Showcase where most of F&G takes place.

Thanks for the input so far. It's so hard to decide, but I love hearing everyone's likes (and dislikes) about the resorts. I hope to be able to stay at all of them eventually.

OKW is great for size, BCV has SAB and you can walk to Epcot, BWV is also walking distance to Epcot, AKV is great for my animal-loving DS, and VWL has the boat to the MK.

I love having these "tough" decisions to make! Of course, if we choose to switch from OKW, we'll have to see what's available at the 7 month window. I may not have very many choices at all if nothing is available.

You forgot SSR on your list! ;) :rotfl:

I was wondering if/when someone would notice that. :lmao: For us, the appeal of SSR is the ability to park near your room. Since we already have that at OKW, I decided not to add SSR into the mix. I know that SSR is a great location for those who like to go to DD and/or PI, but those are places that we seldom go.

If your kids love spending time in a pool as much as most kids do, BCV is the choice.
