Is there a SET dollar value per point for BWV? I am interested in a preferred view 2BDRM BWV and assumed that 1 point=$10.00. Is the point value different for standard/preferred view? Meaning, is a preferred view worth say $11.00 per point? Thanks in advance for your help.

You would really be renting a reservation- not points.

Members may ask what they want for a reservation and renters may offer what they'd like to pay.

Members "pay" for the reservation using points and the different room types, views and time of year "cost" a different number or points. The points needed can give the renter a basis for cost, but the renter can only use the actual reservation, as points have no value to anyone except a DVC member.

You should post the resort, room type, view and dates you want and see if a member can find a reservation for your needs. You can then negotiate a rate for that reservation.
