Pirates Gems

My wife is making up a Pirate's Chest for our campgrounds Pirate Theme Week.

She is going to use some of the beads that we got at the Pirates and Princess Party along with some coins she bought at a party store. She needs Gems though and can't find them anywhere! Any suggestions?

If you have a Disney Store near by; they have Pirate and Princess Treasure Chests and you could buy the jewels there.

I am not sure, but maybe try Oriental Trading, they have all kinds of junk.

Not sure if you'd want something edible, but how about those giant "diamond" ring suckers, you know the ones that come in different colors?

definetly check out the dollar store, that is where i got alot of stuff for our pirate treasure hunt

How about a craft store like Hobby Lobby, JoAnn Fabrics or Michaels?

I found gems at all of those in the beading area and clothing areas last year when I needed some for a birthday party.

The Disney Store just put their Pirate & Princess Jewels on sale for $1.99 a bag.

Also, we got a big container of like 40 ring pops (the lollipops that look like jewels) at BJ's wholesale club for about $10.

We also did Pirates of the Caribbean fruit snacks...
