The wheels are in motion for our next trip (May/June 2009) :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: and even better going for our first 3 week trip:cool1:

Yesterday made the first firm booking; 4 nights at Universal HRH and booking about to start for renting points for VWL and AKV. Will have to wait until first week in July to get the flights sorted with Virgin.....fingers crossed that everything comes together (first DIY trip :scared1: )

Universal were great re the booking. They said that as offers appear over the next year, if we see any better rates or packages (like the current stay 4 days and get two 7 tickets for the parks whcih expires Jan 09 :( ), if I phone they will just amend the rate/booking foc :woohoo:

Must be time to mark the occasion with a time honoured tradtion:drinking1 and it is advised red wine has medicinal qualities :rolleyes1

Well done, Rob. We're in the tentative planning stages for the same dates and also waiting for the flights to be released. If we're out there at the same time, we'll have to arrange to hook up. :thumbsup2

cheers for all the nice messages....I enjoy the planning almost as much as being there, think it is in the blood!

Torsie24... organised, not sure about that but it is nice having 4 days booked.

The concern is getting all the DVC bookings we want, tied into the rooms already booked at HRH and then flights, for the right price, on the right days!.....although first DIY and a bit :scared1: it is also part of the excitment, the challange in pulling it all together....just like the A- team !

Hopefully we find find DIT cheaper but only time will tell

How long are you going for all together? We are going for 16 nights with either 4 or 5 at universal, I was thinking HRH, but if we don;t choose the poly then I like the look of royal pacific. :-)

Not really into rock at all.
