My husband and I want to go to Disneyland in the fall. We've been once before and we stayed at the Candy Cane Inn. This time we would like to stay on property, but we have no idea which hotel.
Does anyone have any advice?

I would look at some websites, www.mouseplanet.com has some nice pics, and there's always www.disneyland.com and look at what appeals to you visually and theme-wise, as well as if a particular one offers certain amenities that appeal to you.
I've stayed at both DLH and GC. DLH has larger rooms, but I really loved the theming and atmosphere at GC.

Depends on what type of advice you're looking for. :D
If location is your biggest concern, the Grand Californian is the closest and has a direct entrance to DCA, a very short walk to the main gate entrances, some very nice restaurants, but probably most expensive. Disneyland hotel is next closest, good restaurants, but you'll have to either walk all the way down thru Downtown Disney or take the monorail. And the Paradise Pier is the furthest and more like an offsite hotel than anything, but has an excellent asian restaurant.
I'd suggest looking at the links above, and don't hesitate to ask any detailed questions here! :)

Thank you both. Since this is somewhat of a splurge trip, I think I'm going to try for the Grand Californian. It seems much more special.
Thanks again.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. If you're interested, see if you can find my trip reports on the trip reports board. I did them in October, so you might have to go back a ways.
I recommend doing the hotel tour, I think it's at 2 p.m. every day and lasts about an hour.
