Hello from the hospital

Hi all,
Rather than PM'ing everyone individually and having speculation and things flying around.
I wanted to bow out gracefully from all Swap's for now. I'm have major problems with my kidney's and I really don't know when I'll be up to doing much of anything after i get out of here.
Now it's nothing Uber serious I'm just in ALOT of pain and might need a bit of surgery.
I'm truely sorry for this I feel so bad for having to this to my fellow scrappers and swappers but I gotta think of myself for once.
I know there are some great angels out there that can help out and believe me whoever does pick up my spots I owe you one. Your good deeds will not go un-noticed by me at least.
Again I'm sorry for bowing out and doing it this way but I didn't really know the protocall in this situation. I'll be in touch at least I have my laptop so not all is lost in having to sit and have pain meds pumped in me all day.
I would like to come back and SWAP when this is all done with and I hope you'll have me back.
I will miss you all and i promise I'll be back as soon as I can.

First off - :hug: Sorry you are going through this. Is there family/friends close by to keep you company and help you throug this?

Second - communication is the key, you letting us know as soon as you could is what makes getting angels in time possible.

I know I will want you to swap with me again when you are back on your feet.

I will go through the sign up threads to see what swaps you were in and I will PM those hostess to see this thread. Being a SAHM means I have time to do this and you don't have to stress about internet life when your real is more important right now.

I believe the Epcot items you have listed are mischief managed instead of Disneyrider but she is in each group. Mickeyteacher said she could do some angel spots when I saw her if others don't take them as she is doing a number of books (I think 3+ sets).

Ok so yes I will need surgery but I'm going to be cut open (thank god) they have located the stone and it's about 8mm.
They are going to put this big machne over where it is and send a shockwave through that spot and hopefully the stone will be broken up into small peices and they will "pass" and go away and I'll beable to be functional again.
So i go in July 14th and I have to stay home the day after as well then hopefully all will be well.
Wish me luck and thanks for all your well wishes.

Oh and get this I can have NO CHOCOLATE!!!!AT ALL!!!! I know you all are gonna feel bad for me now...

8mm!!! Ummmm, no wonder you are in pain!!! That procedure works wonders! I have a few friends that have had great success with it, and any time they don't have to cut, it's the best! Have fun with your sieve after :lmao:

Hey ladies,
So I've decided if I didn't have bad luck I'd have no luck at all.
So with my deductible for the procedure being $2500 I'm having to cancel our WDW trip.
But we do have enough leftover to go to DL and DCA. So I at least get to go somewhere. I'm also gonna take the BF to my old beach and teach him how to surf.
I'm thinking I'll save my WDW trip for my 30th B-day that will be next year.

Everything went well and I should be back to my semi-normal self pretty soon.
I should be back to work by thursday. and I should be-able to ride again by Monday!!!! Thank God I miss my bike so much.
