I know this is not common. But I was just on the greyhound website and for 2 adults NYC to Orlando is only $169!! They have a buy one get one free special. It takes 22 hours. Just how bad is a bus ride down?? For the price it's temping!

As a former "bus company" employee for 15 years, I would not advise the Greyhound to Orlando. Long distance bus travel generally lives up to it's expectation of seedy characters and even seeder middle of the night rest stops, not to mention the fact that luggage recovery in the event of it being lost in transit (high) is virtually impossible. If you can afford any other alternative, I would stongly suggest it! Try one of the Southwest Friends Fly Free fares if they are in your market.
