What do you do when you know someone is lying to your face? Do you call them on it right then and there or let the lie drag on?
I only ask because someone just lied to me. I am posative. This lie not only gets me in trouble, but will also get the person involved in trouble. Ugh, I just let the lie keep going, hoping she would stop it. However, she didn't and she just kept lying. Now I feel like I should have called her on it right when it began.

Someone just lied to me too!
Gah.
It hurts, bad. The fact is, I know this particular person is TERRIBLE at lying (at least to me it is) so when it lied to me, it was quite obvious, because I remember everything it says to me before.
I cant tell it that it's lying to me, otherwise its going to be like "noo i can proove it, blah blah blah blah" and it hurts that much more.

In your case, I'd call them out on it now.

Yes, I've had someone lie straight to my face.
I went up to them about 20 minutes later.
I usually won't let anything drag on.
If it's going to get you in trouble, I'd definately be going up to them.
Good Luck!

I know the girl went to bed. But I think Im gonna write her an email, nothing too negative, just to let her know that I am aware she is lying.
Also, Im gonna write a small email to the third party involved that I am now in trouble with. I just want to cover all of my bases and keep myself out of trouble. (when I totally don't deserve it!)

Yeah, don't be rude to the girl, just make sure she knows that you are aware that she's lying. Maybe explain how it affecting you too.
Good luck!! I hope it all works out!

Thanks! I was honest without being rude. I know sometimes people get scared and they lie...and then it just keeps going on because the first like turnes into a bigger lie, which turns into an even bigger lie ect...
I don't want her to be mad at me, or me to be mad at her, I just want her to get herself out of this lie before it hurts any more people.

Since you are directly affected, I'd make it stop right now.
I usually just let people keep on lying to me, mostly because I can't prove it.

Definitely call her out on it. You have a right because it's causing you and another person unnecessary harm.

if a lie is negatively affecting ME...you better BELIEVE I'm going to call them on it!!!!
if it's not and they are just making up stupid lies for no reason i usually just let them keep lying and laugh to myself at how stupid they are.
if i can tell someone is blatantly lying to my face though and it's going to affect me...i'm somewhat of a beeee-otch sometimes so i definitley am not going to let someone tell lies if it's going to get me into trouble. (especially if it's my sister lol)

If the lie has to do with me in any way, then I'd tell the person right there. If the person is telling me something petty and I know they're lying, I don't bother with it.

I always call people out when I can tell they're lying.
It just REALLY gets to me.
But what you did was definetly the mature and right route, Princess Dot (sorry, I can't remember your name right now!)

It's funny sometimes. My friend kelley things I am dumber than a pole but I'm not. She has lied to me tons of times. I have only confronted her once about her lying, and she swore she was telling the truth. And then she told kelsi that she was lying and kelsi copied and pasted the conversation and i saw it. So kelley isnt very smart.
Most of the time I confront them though.
