My 15 year old son and I will be at the AKL from Dec 19th-27th. It's our 4th trip to Disney, our first at Christmas and our first at AKL. We were at Disney 2 years ago for New Years's and really love this time of year, although it was freezing on NYE and we made good use of our NH fleece!

:D Hi everyone! This is my first post . I'll be going to WDW from Dec. 4-11th with my DH and DD. This is our fifth trip ,but first time in Dec . I can't wait to see the decorations and special shows . DD is dying to see x-mas country bear jamboree ! We all can't wait . We'll be staying 5 nights at POFQ and 2 night at Contemporary , also a first we never stayed anywhere but All Stars before . :) QueenMichelle

But shhh, don't tell the kids! There are too many varriables right now. DH isn't sure if he'll be able to take time away from work over Thanksgiving and the first week of December.

The plan is to fly to Kansas City on November 23, to visit my parents for Thanksgiving. Fly to Orlando on Thanksgiving and spend the weekend at Universal.

Then on to Disney, December 1 - December 7. We are planning to stay 4 nights at CSR and 2 nights at CR. Of couse this is subject to AP rates/Codes.

We aren't evening going to tell my parents (my mom is terrible about keeping secrets!)

This will be our first trip at Christmastime and can't wait for MVMCP and all the decorations!

I think my aunt and I are more excited about seeing our Magic Moments pins go off again, than anything else. :) We both agree that we've never had $15 make us so happy before! I'm going to ride El Rio del Tiempo 10 times in a row -- the lightshow the pins gave off while in the "fireworks room" on that ride was just awesome. :D

Maybe this trip, I'll actually see some fellow lime green ribbons! First time for everything! :)

This is my first WDW trip planned by my wife and I. I have gone to a few one day trips as a kid and for 3 days over the Thanksgiving holidays with another couple in 1996.

We are going to Disney December 4th thru the 10th at the Wilderness Lodge. We stayed at the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge last Dec and it was beautiful and we fell in love with the Lodge. We went back in May 2002 and stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It was beautiful but we all wished that we had stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. I had reservations at the Polynesian for this December but we all keep remembering how much we loved the Wilderness Lodge so we decided to stay at the Wilderness Lodge. So I switched our ressies to the Wilderness Lodge. :)

Have had BWV reservations for Dec 7 to 13, 1 bedroom standard, since January.

Called for frequent flyer tickets from USAir this week, the only non-stop on Dec 7 is 8:55pm, arriving 11:13pm. No way! So I asked to check Friday Dec 6. All flights open! So I booked the 11:35am, arriving 1:45pm. Then I got a 20% DC discount at CBR for that night, $106 plus tax (don't have enough DVC points to add a night at BWV). Hoping a cheaper AP or code discount comes up. Extra day - I'm excited!

This will be our 5th early December trip, each year since 1998 (CBR, DxL, BWV, BWV). Love this time of year!

All the information is very UNofficial and very tentative. We are all waiting for Pete Werner's OFFICIAL registration to be announced and the official itinerary to be announced.

I sure would like to meet some of you guys. We're planning a lot of DIS-mini-meets, but we can't decide the exact dates and times until the official itinerary is announced. Then, we'll plan around the official convention events.

Some of the DISers have already bought Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets for December 8th because it is the last day of the convention. We did the same thing last year and it was a great way to end the convention.

So...if you are going to be at WDW from December 4-8, 2002, come on over to the DIS-CON boards and wait with us for the 2002 DIS-CON registration to be announced.

Maybe you'll see someone that you know, or that you would like to meet, or even staying at the same resort or hotel as you are.

My DH and I will be at ASmo Dec 3-10 for a much needed vacation! This trip is without the kid's, so we're hoping to get some great Christmas gifts! Can't wait!

First plan: Dec. 12-19, then holidays got swtiched for the Academic year -- finals until the 18th.

Second plan: Thanksgiving week, still can't get the days off to make it enough days in for the trip.

Third-time's-a-charm plan: Leaving the instant I finish giving my last final on Dec. 18 and staying through Christmas to the 26th.

We'll be a the Boardwalk Inn.

Welcome to DISboards!!! I think they're the best things to come along in a long time...learned an awful lot and still finding out new things every day!!

Where are you staying? We plan to do a Character Breakfast that morning and hit some rides at MK, break in the afternoon, late lunch/dinner at Le Cellier and then to MVMCP (I don't plan too much! LOL). Will be wearing my lime green ribbon!!!

We will be at the Wilderness Lodge Dec.16- Dec.19. It is our 30th anniversary, and first time no kids. We are loking forward to WL. We have a courtyard room reserved! Any help with room requests would be appreciated. Something looking at lake, or geyser, with a nice balcolny. We always go in July, and stay cabins(which we love), or ASMO. I'm so excited I get to see Xmas Decorations!! Only 3 days but I'll take it. Was just there for 4th of July!! Sorry so Long--really excited!!
