Specific Park Hopper question

Going 12/7 thru 12/15....{arrival/departure times unknown}...
plan on doing Universal one day...(IF we can do the highlights of both parks on one day...also have a spa morning planned....will be doing MVMCP one night..(doint the second parade and enjoying the rides during the first)...and would love to have a whole day to languish in the magic that is the WL along with some DD shopping.......
Would I be better off with a 4 day hopper rather than a 5 day????........(No need for the pluses)

At Universal and IOA you will need a "hopper" ticket to go between parks!! I think they are multi day tickets.

Go for a 5 day even if you only use 4 days the extra day is good for your next trip!!

Do you need admission to MK for the Christmas thing??

It sounds like the 4-day Park Hopper would be ideal for you. Since you are planning to go to Universal during your stay and don't want to visit a park on the day of MVMCP, you won't have a need for that additional day. There is a separate ticket for MVMCP and you aren't required to use your regular park pass for that event.
