Sixth Annual Jellyrolls Meet--Thursday, December 11, 2008

By popular demand, I'm pleased to announce my Sixth Annual December Jellyrolls meet! It's always a blast, and a great group of folks come every year! Here are the details:

Place: Jellyrolls at Disney's Boardwalk Resort
Date: Thursday, December 11, 2008
Time: 8:00 p.m.

We usually wind up getting to Jellyrolls earlier so we can chat before the pianos start, so I'm planning on getting there by 7:30 (doors open at 7:00).

Few things you should know:

There is a $10 cover charge to get into the bar.
Smoking is allowed at Jellyrolls, but I will say that our group is usually smoke free, so that helps a bit :)
They do not serve food at Jellyrolls (except for free popcorn) so eat dinner before you come.

You're so right. In fact, when Karen mentioned that I should book a cruise in Aug '09 because I turn 60 that July and Kate turns 16 in Oct, he jumped at the chance....because there would be a group of like minded folks on the ship (it's a tagrel type thing), he figured he would have a completely different experience than the one he had last Aug!! Can't wait to go and hang with some other guys.

That is just so cool John.....I hope someday I can say that for myself. Dd has shown lots of interest in the Disney College Program but she's only going into high school this year.

DW Sue has informed me that she cannot come to WDW that close to Christmas. It seems that her J-O-B takes priority over the DIS. She has GOT to get her priorities straight. The only question now is whether I come solo or whether DD Sarah will be home from college in time for the two of us to make it to WDW by the evening of the 11th. But regardless of my ladies' plans, I will be there.

You know you love to know the countdown number (which happens to be 84 days, 17 hours and 14 minutes until our plane leaves, if you care).

Unfortunately, I have to wait until the 11th to get there, but at least its earlier than originally planned. ;)

I have to tell you, I finally have some time to change my closets around to move out the summer clothes (yea, I know its almost Thanksgiving, LOL). So, Im doing it thinking, I can wear this here, and this there, etc... Then I realized how close we really are. I will be doing the packing for REAL in just 3-4 weeks! :scared1:

I think the reality of how close this is now has just set in. :yay:

Well I am on the list. to be fired. .. I need to hold onto the job as long as I can but I have realized that it is happening one time or another..
