I'm interested in taking one of Capt. Marvin's snorkeling excursions since my kids are too young for DCL's. After their excursion we'd like to go to 7 mile beach for a little while. Does anyone know how far it is from where the cruise ship docks to Capt Marvins and how far it would be to 7 mile beach also? If 7 mile beach is too far, is there a beach by the ship for us to go to?

we took the tender into Georgetown. We did the Atlantis submarine thing which was a block and half from where we landed, and the afterwards, we walked about another block and a half, and that was some of the best snorkeling i have done. There is no beach per se, but it was free to use. There was a little hut that had rental stuff for snorkeling. Quick and easy!

I believe you will have to take a tender to shore, because the reefs and coral in Cayman are protected.
