Water temperatures and weather in Dec.

We are considering booking the 7 night Western in December. We love to snorkel and hang out at the beaches. Does any one know how the water temps are in Dec. in the Western Caribbean? Is the water too cool to enjoy? How about the weather...is it the rainy season? Thanks

and normally we go the first or second week of January. It is still darn right warm, and i don't think you will have a problem with water temps. We do all the snorkeling we can, and have never had a problem.
