Bruce Springsteen concert - cardiff!!

Hi all,

Just to let you know I saw The Boss at the Millenium stadium in cardiff last night, and although I'm not a huge fan, he was fantastic!!!

Went to stay in a small village near brecon at my friends mum's house on fri night, then in to cardiff on sat, my last 30-something birthday!, for shops and the concert, then stayed in a hotel at the bay. Got back home this afternoon after a fairly easy 5 hour drive. Could have done with tomorrow off work though!!

Popped in to the Dr Who exhibition just for the shop for DS 9 a gift!!

We also saw him with the Stringer contingent and agree with you, he was very good. It was a long day though as we wanted to get at the very front, so were at the stadium a little after 10.30!

But, we were nearly close enough to touch him...

Springsteen is definitely one of the greatest live acts in the world in my opinion. Lord knows how he manages the best part of 3 hours of non-stop high energy rocking on stage at the age of 58, but I'm glad he does!

WOW! Great pics matt, well done for enduring over 12 hours in the stadium! It was a very good way to spend my birthday! But we had a heavy fri night seeing the delights of Talgarth til 2am, so weren't up to going out in cardiff after the show, made our way back to our hotel at the bay to prepare for the drive home the next day.
Plus I wore my new wedges and was suffering with blisters!! OUCH!

I liked Cardiff though, would def have a return visit.
