I work on PS CS2 at work and I love it. I'm getting into Digital Scraping and I want to get something for home. Am correct that PSE is a .psd file? Can I work on one file with both programs?
How different are the programs?
OR if I'm totally off with that thought process, how cheap can I get PS CS2? I don't want the whole suite.

Haven't used PS CS2 much for digital scrapbooking. I have used PSE 6.0. Yes, it is a .psd file. It has backgrounds, frames, clip art, text. You can add shadows, special effects.

I priced cs2 on amazon yesterday and I think it was $176. I'd love to hear if someone knows where it is cheaper, I'd love for Santa to bring me some of the new Totally Rad actions but I can't use it with my version.

I wonder if anyone has worked in both? Is there any sort of trial version of PSE? I'd like to try it before I buy it.
ETA: I found a free trial on their site. I figure I'll give it a whirl...
