Has anyone reserved the swan/dolphin $99 special prior to sailing? Does the room have to be exactly before or can it be a few days before? I already have a room at the radisson the night before sailing but thought of booking the 99 special for a day or two before that if it is possible. Thanks!

We booked the Swan/Dolphin threee days prior to our cruise-not sure which one we will get until we get our documents-my TA did tell me it had to be added on before or after (in our case) the 7 day cruise-not sure if this helps you at all-

We stayed at the Dolphin for 3 nights before our January cruise. We had to call DCL directly and have them make the reservatios for us at the $99.00 rate. We called the Dolphin first and were told to call whoever we booked the cruise through. They have to verify that you are cruising. If you haven't already booked it will now cost $149.00 a night. This was posted on the boards a few months ago.

Hi, does the swan/dolphin have a nice pool area? Also, this $99 you are talking about is it available to anyone who is cruising? Give me details. Might be a fun stop on the way home for a day at the pools and a night at a fabulous hotel We stayed at the dolphin once on a disney trip but were so busy we never even saw the pools.

I have been frantically trying to find the code for the $99 deal. We are booked under the teacher deal at $129 and thought it was about as good as we were going to get. I just called Starwood (at 10:00 on Saturday night, the "local" reservations is closed), and they didn't know anything about it.
If the $99.00 deal is available now, will someone please let me know......
THANK YOU!!!

My understanding is that the "cruise deal" at Swan/Dolphin is now $149 night to be booked with whomever you used to book your cruise. it was $99 until about 6 weeks ago or so. The grotto pool area is beautiful, and it is in a terrific location--we spent one night prior to our cruise in January at the Dolphin using the $99 rate then in effect, but it was too cold to swim that night.

Hi,
I just called DCL today and booked one night at the Swan/Dolphin (not sure which yet) for the day prior to my 7 day cruise in May. I was charged $160. I tried to book on my own and get the teacher's rate but all those rooms are filled. Actually, they said the whole resort is almost filled to capacity during that time, so I'm sticking with the $160.

bbgrizzle ... we are also staying at the Dolphin the night before our cruise (5/4) -- what time frame is the Dolphin reporting a full house?
thanks!
P.S. kml2000 ... the rate is $149 a night now, plus tax.

DisneyPoly,
We are staying at the Swan/Dolphin on May 17th. I thought maybe it was because of a convention that it was so full, but when I was getting rates at other resorts I was told they were pretty full also. Enjoy your cruise!

We booked our cruise in January and received the $99.00 rate for staying two days prior to cruise and 5 days after cruise. Actually, DCLine gave us the information on the special rate. We sail 5/26 on the Wonder.
