I am going to start working on the DISign, so I may have it before you respond, but do you want the extra young woman next to mom or at the end by the boys?? And do you want any names on the bottom?? I think if we leave off the kids then we should leave off "mom" and "dad" too. Let me see if I have this right. Remember, I am going to save it in a program that I can easily manipulate, so if you want changes, don't hesitate to let me know :cutie:

My MIL and friend were originally going on the trip and then weren't and guess what, now they are going again. Can you add them to this design please? MIL is Kathy and friend is Janet but I'm thinking maybe they should be Grandma & Auntie and DH & I should be Mommy & Daddy. Is it possible to do both and everyone else (not me) can decide what they like better? If I'm asking too much and/or being a pain please tell me to back off. I have received so many great designs from many people on this board and am truly appreciative and don't want to upset anyone.

The 2008 with the Mickey ears is the easy part. I make a 20 08 (like that with a space inbetween) and then make another layer with just a 0 (I find it looks better to be a little larger of font) and move it around until it looks like a mickey head.

The people were made be a great DISigner (ladylucca (http://www.ladylucca.com/shirts/))a while back. She isn't disigning any longer so a couple of us have stepped up and helped out. Teylnn (http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1539336) has some better "people" including a wheelchair one and she might have babies too. There is also another DISigner, Leonsmom (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1811461) that has people that are a less stick like and she does have a baby one.

If you are around here for any length of time the DISigning bug will get you and you can't help but share :rotfl2: I just figure it is my "paying it forward" for all the help I have received :banana:

Well, I haven't hit a limit yet. I guess I could either make the people smaller or make 2 rows of them (we could decide what looked better) but I have already made one with 10 people on it! I think we wouldn't have a problem with 12. We just might need to play around with the placement. :)

It really isn't very hard. All you need to do is find a DISign you like and either personalize it or ask the DISigner to personalize it for you. Then save the DISign in a program (like a photo or card program) or if you don't have a program save it in MS Word. Then you can print it out onto special Tshirt transfer paper (I prefer white, just easier) here (http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1772213) are some instructions on how to do the iron on.

And if you want a stick family, just let me know the names and what you want on the top and bottom and I will post one for you :goodvibes

I was going to post a reply to explain this. (I will fix yours first though!)

Here is what that post was going to say:
OK, so last night I crashed my computer with my good programs on it :sad2:

The good news is DH will be able to fix it, the bad news I won't be able to make any new families until at least Wed :scared1: I do promise to work double time to catch back up. If he hasn't fixed it by Thursday, I will put the programs on his computer (that should speed him up :rolleyes: ). I just didn't want anyone to think I had left the board without finishing ;)

I will finish the requests asap!!! So sorry for the delay. Apparently I got some kind of virus and DH is going to have to do something that makes more sense to people that understand computers then I do :rotfl:

I have only used the DARK tshirt transfer paper. I haven't had any trouble with them not sticking. I did have some trouble with some "professional" paper I used that started to peel off at the corners. I think the problem with that was it was meant to be used by a heat press and I didn't iron it long enough. The paper that I used that I liked the best I bought off ebay (there was a link around here somewhere, I will see if I can find it). I have also only used cotton or cotton/poly blends for Tshirts, if that makes a difference :confused3

I read your post and I am thinking that computers don't print white. I don't think you can make it in white. I think the computer only prints black, blue, red, yellow and blends of these. I believe those are vinyl.

The only thing I can think of is to make more of a bumper sticker???

However I have 1 slight problem. My daughter is freaking out that her DS's real name is on them. She is nervous not only about the net but publicly as well. I didn't think she would have an issue with it and seeing everybody else not having issues with theirs I didn't see the harm. Anyway after the intial "OMG Mom what have you done worn off", I realized that in this day and age I guess she has to be a bit over caution in things such as displaying his name.

So would there be any way you could redesign the two using his two nic names since she and I call him different pet names.

I will understand if you say no but I will give you examples for both just in case your in a supper dooper good mood or have pity on me because I have to deal with DD in person. Then again perhaps begging will help :worship:

All you need to do is copy and save the DISign to a program you can use MS Word or if you have any card programs (I used to use American Greetings Creatacard) you can use that. If you are having any trouble with the size, it is also saved at my photobucket account. Once it is saved then you only need to print it onto special T-shirt transfer paper. If you use the DARK T-shirt transfer paper then you don't have to worry about inverting the DISign. There is really good thread around here that explains that really well.

I know I have done 12 sucessfully in a straight line. I can play around with the positioning of the stick people, maybe put some in front of others etc. Give me the ages of the kids (and if adult, just say adult) and if the name could be either, say boy or girl :rotfl: and the names of everyone and lets see what we can do :goodvibes
