The Family Cafe- today at CSR

I'm sorry I didn't know about this sooner as it's really last minute. I mean really last minute...today. There's a HUGE conference/networking event sponsored by the Family Cafe for those with special needs and families over at Coronado Springs. It pretty much takes up the entire conference area. While there are seminars to visit there are also vendors there with everything from adapted vans to different types of diaper samples for someone who needs them. Lots of brochures, literature, info on SN trusts, etc. Again, I'm sorry I didn't get much of a heads-up on this one as someone in the "world" or living nearby might want to attend. Sue- If I can figure out how to do it and if it's okay with you/the mods I'll post the link to the Family Cafe site so at least someone could be on the radar for future conferences. It was amazing and so much good information was shared, plus it was nice to see so many families out learning and helping each other.---Kathy

May be for Florida only but I went click and found a link to a link whatever that will get me two coupons for a converter box for my television. It has some good links even if only for Floridians. I have been having fun with their list of links. One site I found there listed car rebate programs for disabled people. Now to buy a car.

Even though the organization is in Florida anyone can attend the conferences. I know it might be a stretch for someone to come all the way to Florida but if anyone is already in the area then it might be a possibility.---Kathy
