Hello all,

I have just discovered this board and absolutley love it!!! How creative you all are!!

I would love to start doing some of these great ideas (ie autograph books, journal books etc) for myself. I am a travel agent that sells Disney and would love to make something special for my guests. I obviously can't keep requesting things from everyone here so I am going to try to do somethings myself. I have spoken with a wonderful designer who was most gracious in letting me use her " Mousekeeping " envelopes as long as I gave her credit. Thank you to Mcraft17 again, you have been a blessing with all your help and patience!! :)

My question is what software program does everyone use? I want to go out and purchase something but want to make sure I pick the right one. Also, does the software come with all the great templates or do you get those somewhere else? Also does it explain how to "layer"?

I have been looking at all of the great ideas and this board has really inspired me!! I am most interested in making small autograph books, Welcome to Disney invites, small journals and I LOVE the Advanced Dining invites!! If you are a designer and have done some of those....any advice would be appreciated.

I am really big on making my guests trip "magical" and I think this would really be a wonderful touch to their welcome package that I send. I have already made a simple Hidden Mickey sheet and am working on a "Disney Secrets" sheet also, but have been inspired to make it "Fancy"!! :cool1:

Thank you to all in advance,

Lisa

I just bought Photoshop Elements 6 based on recommendations on this board (seems like some folks use that program and there is another popular one - I think it's called Paint Pro).

Anyway, it just arrived today. Now I have to go out and buy Photoshop Elements 6 for DUMMIES! :scared1: It is so much more sophisticated than my lil' ole' Camedia photo program that came with my Olympus Camera! I don't know WHAT I was thinking when I bought sight unseen. I'd recommend you get recommendations than see if they programs offer a 30-day free trial to make sure you like what you hear. :smokin:

BTW, you might want to do a search on this board as this question has been asked before. 8-)

I was able to get mine on sale at Amazon for $69.99 (which was another factor weighing in on my decision to buy PSE6).

hope this helps and good luck.

stumbling along.........
