My Cousin Vinny... I love everything about it but mainly the final court scene... Definitely Marisa Tomei's finest hour... "You've been a lovely, lovely witness." :goodvibes

Chocolat. It's so sad and moving yet in the end happy - really beautiful. I'm glad I saw it before I read the book as they are not the same story (I love the book too, though.)

Brillant film, so funny. Marisa Tomei certainly deserved the Oscar.

My favourite film is Death on the Nile. It has everything for me, true Hollywood great actors, murder/mystery and the fantastic backdrop of the Nile. I've lost count the amount of times I've seen it. Although I know the end it's still my alltime favourite. I even have it on my Ipod:thumbsup2

2001 A Space Odyssey on Blu Ray is simply stunning

Love Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, (bit of a war theme there !)

but also love Glengarry Glen Ross, which when I have had a bad, day this film makes realise it could be a whole lot worse. Jack Lemmon in this film is superb,

For me it has to be The Blues Brothers..The music is great, the car chases are funny John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd are great and so many stars in it.It was on a VA flight to Orlando years ago and I probably watched it 3 times on the way. The scene when the penguin (mother superior) chases them out and down the stairs really cracks me up every time. Classic..

Pulp fiction. Although very different subject I'll also vote for Love Actually, I love all the connections in the movies, when I saw both films I thought they were very clever.

For me it has to be "Some like it hot" which I can watch over and over again.

Also Christmas eve and the 23rd I have to do the annual viewing of Wonderful Life and White Christmas or it wouldn't be Chirstmas.

My favourite film has got to be 'Clerks', by Kevin Smith.

Made on a budget by maxing out several personal credit cards, filmed during the night in the convenience store that he worked in during the day, starring his mates, surely independent film-makings finest hour. Superb dialogue, still one of the funniest films ever, the launch pad for Jay and Silent Bob as well, sheer brilliance! ::yes::

My favourite movie is All The President's Men with Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford - I'm a Watergate nut, it would definitely be my specialist subject on Mastermind!

Jurassic Park would be a close second

My fave is Back to the Future because it is easy watching really. My other fave would have to be "An Officer and a Gentleman" mainly because of the iconic last scene! The best ending to a film IMO, even if it is really cheesey.
