Well, we are officially at the 45 day mark. I just made the last payment yesterday, and we can't wait to go. It has been 20 years since either my wife or I visited Disney World, and two of our three kids (DD13 and DS4) have never been to the world, so this is going to be a very exciting trip for us.

With help from the DIS, we feel much better prepared than I expected to be. We have all our ADR's in place, we've worked out our route (since we are driving) and made reservations for hotels on the way there and back, and have worked out rough itineraries for the trip, so we know which attractions we want to see, and what order we will try to see them in.

We still have a few things to take care of before we go (like pre-ordering the photo pass), but we feel that we are pretty well prepared.

Hopefully, we'll bump into a fellow DIS'er or two during our stay!

It ought to be fun, just the 7 of us (3 for me, 4 for you!) :rotfl: I am also going with my mom and my DD12. We stayed at Movies 2 years ago and had a blast. I just love the theming. It's VERY Disney. We're excited because my mom hasn't been to Disney since 1979. I can't wait to show her everything, but I feel sorry for her. I have a tendancy to do Disney commando style, so I'm going to have to turn it down a notch or two! :rotfl: Will you be decorating your room window? I haven't in the past, but then again, I wasn't part of the DIS on those prior trips, so maybe this time I will! Big ole' lime green Mickey head on my window sounds about right. :woohoo:

Looking forward to possibly meeting some of the DISboarders who are there at the same time. I will have a LGMH somewhere, possibly a lime green water proof Disney case around my neck (although if it starts to get bothersome it may end up in my pocket) and even got myself a new lime green shirt to wear on special occasions (what can I say, just call me Mr. incognito), so if you see someone like that ask if they post on the DIS. If it's me, I would love to meet you and put a face with the name.

If you want to fix your sig, just select User CP at the top left of the screen and choose edit sig. You can preview it before you save it so you can see how it is looking and clean it up first if you need to.

I think ( I am new at this) that a PTR is a pre-trip report and a TR is a trip report (follow up after returning)...I just started reading on these trip report threads and some are very entertaining, as well as a way to get a better feel for some properties/attractions and build enthusiasm for your own trip (as if we need to at our house! :rotfl: )

BTW - I think you may be my first "mousketeer" post!! I did not notice until my DH pointed out to me that my status had changed...maybe at my 75th post? No longer earning my ears - just in time for my trip (leave Friday!!!)

Anyway, sorry to digress .... just couldn't help it in my excitement!!!
