Hi folks, we're planning a trip for 2009 and considering either utilising Feb half term or Oct half term hols. If we go in Feb, we'll need a skycot for a 5month old. Does anyone know if VA have skycots in PE? I think if they do - they must be in the downstairs section behind First class.
Thanks

Hi,
yep - def sky cots downstairs in PE. One on left one on right but none in the middle.
Can't remenber about upstairs as was last year but am nearly sure I saw at least on up there!?!?!?
Getting allocated them though is another matter as I found out last month with our 7 month old!

They do have 1 upstairs flying out of Manchester, however, don't know if you've seen one but I wouldn't count on anything but a small baby sleeping in one, our daughter didn't fit at all at 9 months which isn't a great deal bigger than 5 months.

Thanks for the responses. Will phone VA and check the set-up of the Manchester flight. Looks like there is definitely one/two downstairs - so PE is still an option for us. Best get saving!!
I know what you mean about how roomy they actually are - we had one booked for my son when he was 9 months old last July. A couple of weeks before our holiday we asked for the dimensions of the skycot and realised he wouldn't fit!! Unfortunately my step-daughter couldn't come with us as planned, so we utilised her seat for our 9 month old.

I am sure we have used one upstairs on the London-Orlando flight but at 8 months our dd didn't fit in it.

There is definatley one space upstairs in PE for a Skycot - depending on the plane type it will on the left or right. Those seats have loads of legroom too!
