Im trying to upload a video of pictures I made with Windows Movie Maker to a popular movie viewing site, but apparently I have the wrong format. The website tells me to go back to WMM and export the video in MVI format (i have no idea what that means), which is not an option on my movie maker..does this sound familiar?
How do I upload videos to youtube from Windows Movie Maker?

The youtube help says this:

"I'm using Windows Movie Maker. Why won't my video upload? If you're using Windows Movie Maker, it's possible you're trying to upload your .MSWMM file. This is not an actual movie file. An .MSWMM file is a Windows Movie Maker project file. If you're satisfied with your movie, choose the "Publish Movie" or "Save Movie File" option (depending on which version you have) under the "File" menu and create a movie file such as .avi or .wmv. Export the finished movie as a MP4 file or a MOV file. (h264 best)

YouTube will eat that just fine.

Hope this helps :-)
