We will be at OKW next month for 10 days. We have an Illuminations Cruise scheduled for one night and wish to drive to BW for dinner and then take the Cruise.

I've heard they have a two hour time limit now for non-guest Resort parking. Does this also apply to DVC members who wish to park at a DVC resort? We will be there more than two hours.

We would prefer to drive back to OKW rather than walk thru Epcot after Illuminations and catch a bus back to OKW. Has anyone tried this since the new rules took effect?

I do not think you will get a two or three hour pass when you park at the Boardwalk. You may have trouble finding a spot to park though, as the lots do get crowded.

My advice is to valet park. It is free for DVC members, so all it will cost you is a tip. Enjoy the cruise!

I don't know about a 2 hour rule, but you can always use the FREE valet parking as a DVC member. Just pull up to the entrance, and drop off your car. Have your OKW parking sign in the window. Just need to tip the person, the $6 fee is not required.

As far as I know there is no two hour rule at BW. What they have been doing is preventing people from entering the main lot, particularly in the morning and early afternoon when little is going on at BW, unless they are actually going to the BW for a reason (what they are trying to prevent is people simply using BW to go to Epcot for the day). As long as you arrive in the late afternoon or evening, are actually going to the BW and the cruise, they will let you park. I also recommend, as a DVC member, you take advantage of valet parking (free to DVC members but you should tip).

We just got back from OKW 2 weeks ago. Our DD and family were at the BW. Never had a problem with parking. No mention of any limit. We did not use Valet but then again we park in the HC area.
We visited the area 3 or 4 times for dinner at the FF and also Epcot twice, and the Chefs of France.

Thanks for your answers, I totally forgot about the valet parking option. That's a good idea!

Those guys run pretty hard on the job and definitely deserve a tip!
