Well, we are back from the most fantastic trip of our lifetimes !!
This vacation was incredible from the start. The luggage transfers were definately worth the extra money. The Ship was in immaculate shape ! Service was super, Meals were delicious and our servers were so helpful and accomodating (We have 3 DS). The weather was great about 83 deg. each day and sunny. Glad we packed a lot of sunscreen. Nassau was ok, we bartered at the straw market and took a carriage ride thru town. We didn't do excursions, maybe next time. Nassau is not the cleanest town, but everyone we talked to was very nice. Castaway Cay was definately the highlight for us. This is one beautiful island !! It was a dream come true to see blue water.(We live on the east coast!) The day at sea was very relaxing and not as bumpy a ride as the trip from Port to Nassau. I put together a web page if you would like to view some pictures of our cruise. Can't wait for another cruise, probably the 7 day western.

Great pix! You're kids are adorable.
You helped me get my first "Disney Fix" of the day! It's been 310 days since our four night Wonder cruise, and it's ONLY 241 days until we go again, so we're more than half-way there! It's almost time to start packing!
Beth
BTW--We're a family of Cooks too, but I don't think we're related.

We didn't go to Atlantis. We took a horse carriage ride around Nassau and did some shopping. Nassau is not a clean place !
Not sure about Atlantis side. We have 3 sons 3,7,11 and they really enjoyed the activities on the ship. Trip was fantastic, you will enjoy Castaway Cay and don't miss the Konk Koolers !!

Your pictures were great! We're taking our first cruise on 5/5. Am I to assume from your pictures that you were in a Cat. 4 that sleeps 5? That's we have booked and I was wondering what the inside looked like.
Thanks!

Yes, it was a cat 4 room and slept 5 perfectly. Stateroom 8056. No noise from stacks, close to deck 9 where the action and pools are. Have a great cruise !

Carriage ride cost us $35.00 for 2 adults and 3 children, but it started out at $10.00 a head. Always barter in Nassau, we did on every purchase down to a can of Pepsi (Coke gets old after a while for me). Have a great time and make sure to try a Konk Kooler !!

DId you go to Castaway Cay early? We went on the Wonder in 2000 and we didn't see any characters on the beach. Your kids are adorable. The pictures were great. Can't wait to go. We leave 4/16!:bounce:

We left the Wonder right after breakfast. They had characters on the walkway to the beach. Mickey, Pluto ,Goofy and Chip & Dale, maybe more, I can't remember. Thanks for the comments and have a great cruise !

How bumpy of a ride was the first night? Did anyone get seasick? Did you have trouble sleeping? Your pictures look great, but the rooms seem sooooo small. I was told that we have a large room with category 4, I can't imagine anything smaller.

You have made me even more excited! We leave for the 4 day Wonder in exactly 7 days!!!
Can you tell me what the movies were on board? Also, what activities did you kids enjoy the most? My DD (4) is looking forward to it and I'm hoping she will like the kids club.

dbkelly,
The ride to Nassau was quite bumpy,my 11 year old needed some dramimine (definately take something with you). We lost a few people that evening at dinner to sea sickness.Sleeping was a bit of a challenge. After that the ride was pretty smooth, they slow it down a lot !! We had a Cat. 4 room Deluxe w/ veranda that slept 5. They are small !! But no need to spend time there !!
Gabbys_mom,
Movies included, The Rookie, Monsters Inc., The count of monte cristo, Snow dogs,The Princess diaries, Return to neverland, The emporers new groove, Legally blonde, The Royal Tenenbaums.
Musicals included, Hercules the musical (Great) Who wants to be a mouskateer (Fun) and Disney dreams (Great Also).
If you want I can scan the 3-4 year group and e-mail it to you, My youngest DS is 3.5 and he loved the group activities.

cookie ... could you e-mail me the latest 3-4 yr navigator? My daughter just turned 4 on Friday and we are sailing on 5/5. I would appreciate it. My e-mail is Disney5@msn.com.
Thanks!

I have been searching for the 4 day navigators for 5-7 and 10-12. It appears that cookie has them. Unfortunately, they are not very clear and are hard to read. Thanks Cookie!

Sonya, are you using Internet Explorer v5.5? That version of IE has a feature that shrinks an image file to fit in your browser window. And when you do that with these Navigators, they appear not all that clear. But if you "mouse over" the image, there is a button that appears at the lower-right of the image. Click on that button to expand the image to full size. When you do that, Cookie1963's Navigators are very clear and easy to read.

I am using Internet Explorer but I don't know what version(I'm sure my husband knows but he's at work). Anyway, when I "mouse" over the navs, the pointer turns to a hand, I then click and the nav becomes larger but is still smaller than I would like, faded and fuzzy. There is no button in the lower right corner to click unfortunately. Perhaps we have a lower version of IE and can upgrade and then see it better? I'll ask DH about that tonight.
Thanks for trying to help. I didn't mean to pick on Cookie! I'm thrilled to find the navigator at all, it's just pretty hard for me to read. On somebody's site, either Dave or Barb, don't remember, the navs come up full size and very clear and I can read them easily but these don't do that for me.
Thanks all!

I just went back and played with it some more and I found the button in the lower left corner!!!! It appears on the second image of the nav...First I click to blow it up some and then I "mouse" over that image and the button appears. I was looking for it on the first image.
Thanks so much!!! This is awesome and very readable now!!!!
By the way, Cookie, do you have a full website or just the Navigators? There didn't seem to be a link to other pages of the website from the navigators....Of course, we all now know that I apparently miss the obvious sometimes.
