I have a rental car from Priceline starting Sunday. However, I changed my flight and will arrive in Orlando tonight. Does anyone think Budget could add a day to my priceline reservation and just charge me the normal rate? I have another car on hold and if needed I will return to the airport Sunday and swap. Just thought I would ask?

Priceline's official policy is that no changes can be made to your reservation. If you rent from Budget for one day (today), perhaps they will just let you hang onto the same car. But you probably won't know until you get to the Orlando airport.

We added on two days last year to a priceline ressie....the two extra days cost more than the previous 8 days.....The only way to reserve at a discount price was to return the car from priceline and start a new rental.

So, unless you want to return the car there is no way to add on time to a current priceline ressies....I opted for paying the additional $100 because spending the time driving back and forth to the airport was worth more than that to me...

Zurgswife, that is actually what I wound up doing. Since I only had one day it was not that bad! I figured it was worth it. Budget was very good about doing it, but I assume that if they had been short of cars I would have been out of luck. (I had a backup reservation for one day at Hertz)
