As a new member, can you join two resorts at the same time?

Lets say you want to join DVC with a total purchase up front of 500 points. Can you have two primary residences, ie. split the points, (300 Beach Club and 200 Hilton Head) to take advantage of the 11 month booking advantage for both locations? I can't think of a reason you should not be able to do that...just wondering if that has come up. Certainly you can add on after the initial purchase. Thanks for any feedback...

Of course you can, I assume that you realize that you would have the 11 month window for only the points at that resort. You could use 300 at BCV at 11 months and if you wanted to use all 500 points at BCV you have to wait till the seven month window to use the HH points for a reservation at BCV.
