Have been to disney world to many tiomes to count. My wife & kids know everything about what, where, why and how about doing the world the way we like to . We are taking our neice & nephew for their first visit after Thanksgiving for a week. [4 & 6], Any Ideas for their first visit would be terrific
Thanks
DisneyQuest is off the beaten path (not inside one of the 4 theme parks), and seems to be very popular with kids and adults. Spend some time there - it can get very addictive!

I think the real challenge is not to overwhelm them with too much information. It took you years to learn everything so they don't have to get it all in one trip. My advice is to just go with their interests and let them feel free to ask questions. Since you've been there so many times, you don't have to be commando and see and do it all. I bet you guys are going to be the greatest tour guides in the world! Your niece and nephew are very lucky! I hope some of your favorites will become their favorties, also.

Plan a kids trip - lots of character interaction and time in Fantasyland - you'll get a whole new perspective when you see it from their point of view.
I would suggest you visit Epcot as the first park so that they don't expect everywhere to be like the Magic Kingdom!
Take time for naps in the afternoon.
I know some kids who have more fn in the hotel pool that at the parks so plan for that eventuality too!
