Resort Payments.

Sorry, I am full of questions tonight. :p

I made my resort reservations through CRO and put the deposits on my credit card, but forgot what they said about when the final payment was due. Can we pay the balance at check-in or do I need to call and pay the balance before we leave? I remember them saying something about we could cancel up to 5 days prior, but cannot recall when the full payment was due.

The balance will be due at check-in at the resort. :) You can also charge it before you leave if you wish.

I would give them a call. We used a code and we had to pay our final payment approx a month before. I would say that you can put the final payment on a credit card but we were told to make sure to allow plenty of time for the final payment (we sent a check).

In the past, I agree with CaliforniaDreaming, we could pay at check in, but I am thinking changes were made with some of the specials.

If you made your reservation with CRO, the cancellation time is 5 days. If you booked with WDTC, I believe it is 45 days. I switched our reservation purposely to CRO because of this. And Thankfully I did a/c MIL and FIL cannot go now and I had to cancel one room. My original reservation was with WDTC. The code originally came out with WDTC and eventually opened up with CRO, They would have had to pay a penalty for cancelling.

I would call to be safe. Enjoy!

I just make ressies for Nov. 22-28 at ASMo, i was told final payment was due Nov. 1st. To play it safe, i would call back to double check!

Reservations booked thru CRO (Central Reservations) may be cancelled up to 5 days before check-in, and final balance is payable at check-in.

Reservations made with DC (Disney Club) discounts are thru Walt Disney Travel Company, which has a prepayment and cancellation policy. With all of the various codes out there, be sure to find out which policy applies to your reservation.
