What the heck.
What happend to the black and white Mickey shows and...heck with it, Even Stevens and Lizzie Mcguire.
Those were my favorite tv shows ever!
My dad said
" Disney doesn't care about children anymore. It's all about money. "
Hannah Montana? I mean what the flip, dude.
Disney is so fake now.
Getting rid of shows people ENJOYED.
A girl who lives two lives.
Two boys who invents all sorts of things like roller coasters and a PLATYPUS THATS A SECRET AGENT.
Disney turned into crap.

Lizzie McGuire is still on in the UK... actually, i'm watching it now.
I would assume it's all too "old" and many people wouldn't understand the jokes and maybe wonder why there's no iPods or something in it...
I want to watch Out of the Box now D-: When I look Out of the Box up on Google, it comes up with a page from Playhouse Disney saying it's on every weekday at 9:00am but it's not. They even have the Out of the Box website still on the UK site... why must they taunt us?

Lizzie McGuire is on sometimes here, I think ont he weekends.
I want Even Stevens back.
But yeah, I miss The House of Mouse. I loved that show a lot, it was cute.

I miss all the old shows! Pretty much all the new ones are lame compared to the old ones. That doesn't keep me from watching them, but still. Even the playhouse disney shows now stink. I mean, have any of you ever seen that show bunny town?? out of all the little kids in my family, i can't think of a single one that likes it. mickey mouse club house on the other hand, i could watch all day, but that's just because i have issues! :goodvibes
It's not just Disney though. It's like all the tv stations are trying to change. I mean, what happened to Rugrats or Ahh! Real Monsters? Sure they still play Blues Clues every once in a while, but it's not good with Joe.
Sorry. I watch too many kids shows, and kinda started to rant :]]

I loved Out of the Box! I loved the opening song and the closing cong. They were so catchy!
Do they still show Rollie Polly Ollie?- is that how you spell it?
Well, atleast they are giving Mickey Mouse Club house

Out of the box,
Out of the box.
Take one box,
put it with another,
let's look for one that's long and wiiiide.
Sorry, I couldn't resist :rotfl: But right this second, that's the only part of the opening song I can remember

They used to, along with Stanley and PB&J Otter, until last September :( The irony is, they played an advert which showed all of their TV shows with a little song. That advert played until maybe March (I think it might still be on actually) and the advert mentions Stanley a few times...
They still show the old Winnie the Pooh show though :)
House of Mouse is still on here as well. Hercules is. Little Mermaid. Timon & Pumbaa. 64 Zoo Lane. Bear in the Big Blue House. JoJo's Circus. Tarzan. Aladdin. Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. old Disney cartoons.
I'm not sure what still shows in the USA but they're what I would call old TV shows I guess...

The only thing I watch on Disney Channel is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
I don't know if any of the old shows like lizzie mcguire are still on.
I blocked the channel because I don't need to waste my time searching through the channel since it has nothing that intrests me. :p
Don't they have a Buzz lightyear of star command movie?
Because I thought I had one that I now want to watch...
Maybe it was just the show I'm thinking of.

:-O Smart Guy!!! That used to be on in the UK, until Summer of either 2006 or 2007... they also had Boy Meets World and Teen Angel. I have no idea why they took them off air -_-

Smart Guy is on every night here. Last night they had the episode where Moe and Yvette were trying to win the Volkswagen..
Boy Meets World I miss so much. I loved that show, I've seen every episode, but it was taken off the air here a few months ago.
Teen Angel was only on for a very brief time here (and You Wish was too).

Boy Meets World is on ABC Family for me. And yes I do miss the old Disney Channel before Zoog or whatever it was called. But the only show I actually like watching on the new Disney Channel is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Phineas and Ferb. The new Winnie the Pooh stinks.

If we ever wanted to protest, it would be very hard... We could boycott all Disney owned channels, but so many people watch it. Disney gets most of it's money through their TV channels. I know that from a stock market TV show :)

I miss the old shows!
I remember late at night they would show Zorro and the Mickey Mouse Club.
All shows from the 60s.
I loved it.
I loved being up to watch "So Weird".
&& I loved when they had like Zoog Disney, and showed Bug Juice as a regular show during the summer.
As times changed, disney changed.

I have to agree.
I think they need to toss in some of the older stuff because it will be new to the kids who watch Disney Channel. And it would be great nostalgia for us older "kids". The new shows seem to only be about spoiled brats who are famous, rich, and always getting in and out of trouble too easily.
What happened to my old favorites like Rescue Rangers, Duck Tales, New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Tale Spin, Goof Troop, and Even Stevens? Timon & Pumbaa was cool when I was younger but I can't stand it now, it gives me massive headaches whenever I happen to find it on.
Please tell me that Sister, Sister is still on sometimes!

I'm gonna have to disagree here.
Everyone here just loves the old shows because that's what we watched when we were little.
I mean, the shows haven't changed THAT much, material wise.
I bet you five years from now, the kids that watch Hannah Montana now are going to be complaining about the new shows that are on instead.
Boy Meets World, though, I do miss that. It's still on ABC Family every once in a while. I've seen all of the episodes at least twice, but it never gets old. :]

I like both Hannah Montana and Phineas and Ferb.
Sue me.
They still show Lizzie McGuire and Even Stevens, just not on Disney.
Disney sold both of those shows to some other TV station.
And Sister, Sister still comes on, too.
I do miss all the old animated shows, though.
Like Pepper Ann, Teachers Pet, Gargoyles, Tail Spin, Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck and all of those nifty shows.

Oh my god I used to love so weird. When I was like 6 it would freak me out just to the point where I wanted to see it again. I loved the one where the girl had like an alter ego because of a choice she had made, like, another version of herself because of the different choice she made in like an alternate universe. It's hard to explain but I loved it!!
ummmm what else, i loved doug and pepper ann and even gargoyles when i was up late enough to see it.
God I miss all those shows

I thaught USA disney channel would be so much more better than the UK one.
We still have Lizzie miguire. And House of mouse. Tarzan. The little mermaid (series) excetera.
And American dragon? Im not keen on that.
And i loved out of the box 2. I dont think they show that anymore.
Do they still show Bear in the big blue house? I used to dance to that haha.
Yeah im 17. Who cares?!
But i love Hannah Montanna :).
Disney is starting to be for teens aswell as kids now.
Hopefully it will get better.
But still keep the magic.

I miss Even Steven's, and Sinbad. D: Also, the old Winnie the Pooh. The new one, "My friends Tigger and Pooh" is crappy.
Oh, I forgot the show "8 simple rules", and Darcy's wild life (<seriously xD). I miss those too.
About in 2004 or so, they used to show old Disney movie series like Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Pocahontis, the Hunchback, and some other series. I miss those. :(
Sigh. A lot has changed.

They had Darcy's Wildlife on for a short while on Nickelodeon a while ago (but I might be thinking of a different show. One i'm thinking about is a girl who's obsessed with animals and compares everyone in her life to an animal or something...)
The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is still on here.

I think you're thinking of that Wild Thornberry's or whatever the name was, George.
I was obsessed with Out Of The Box when I was younger. In the 90s Disney Channel and Nickelodeon were like my life. Every once in a while I'd watch PBS.

I think we loved these shows because we were little when they were on. Now whenever I see an episode of Lizzie McGuire I laugh at how cheesy it is.
In a couple years all the teenagers will be saying 'What happened to Hannah Montana?! Suite Life with Zach and Cody?! Those were the good shows...'

Ditto.
The shows are only getting worse to us because we've grown out of it. This isn't the "downfall of Disney" Disney is actually just getting more popular. If Disney doesn't care about kids, how are shows like Hannah Montana extremely popular and High School Musical 2 broke basic cable records on it's premiere night.
Its sad, but it's a fact. Disney is a business. All they want to do is make money. Back when Walt was King [and they hardly had any competition] he said, "You reach a point where you don't work for money." But now they do have competition and they have to compete to win. I still believe Walt would say that, but there's nobody like Walt. :(

Well to me in my own opinion. I think the shows they have on now are not that great. I don't watch any of them. The only thing I watch on the Disney Channel is a movie. If there is one on that I like. Some people might not like what I am about to say.I am sorry but I just have to say it. I think Disney has lot there touch with there TV shows. I loved the old ones like So Weird, In a Heartbeat, The famous Jet Jackson(I think that's what it was called) and many more. That's just my opinion.:confused3
