Funeral Collage

I've never done one of these, and the pics span from 1912ish till now...so many are black and white. I was thinking about a black background and white mats...some of the pics have a sepia tone due to age... I was also thinking about doing a plain name and date of birth/death at the top with my cricut...

Anyone have any suggestions as to how to put this together? Does what I'm thinking sound good? Due to family drama, this needs to be awesome...Thanks so much for the help!!!

I think what you're thinking sounds awesome! The white mats & black background will really draw attention to the pictures and pull them all together! Good luck with it!! :hug:

I think that sounds very classy. Some plain ribbon and black/white primas would be a subtle enhancement.

If you feel its too monochromatic don't forget the Victorians used deep purple as well for mourning accompaniements - its nice and dignified and works well with B&W (I've used it for the Queen Mother's funeral pics)

The collage is going to be a wonderful tribute to his life.
