I have what we think is burrsitis in my elbow and shoulder, requiring me to use ice packs to control swelling and pain. I know that for medical issues the values will supply a fridge free of charge, will they do this so that I can store my ice packs?

Yes, but the refrigerators they supply may not have a freezer compartment; is just "refrigerator cold" sufficient?

I figure if I freeze it in a bucket of ice and then transfer it to the fridge over night it should be good to go in the morning.

You might want to also bring along an old fashioned style ice bag. (http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?id=prod1704643&CATID=100111&skuid=sku1704630&V=G&ec=frgl_856028&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=sku1704630) You can get them at most drug stores/Pharmacy departments. You fill it with ice and the bag contains the water as the ice melts. All the resorts have ice machines that you could get ice at to fill it. You also would be able to bring it to the parks empty and get ice to fill it at First Aid or at any counter service restaurant in the parks.

They may or may not. My understanding is that the medical-fridge is intended for medication that will 'go bad' above a certain temperature; and that it's extremely possible the fridge will be about the size of a shoebox.

I like Sue's suggestion.

Another plug for disposable ice packs (I could own stock!!!). About a buck a pice and easy to carry with you.

Just got back from ASMovies, and the fridges we had did have freezer sections, but they didn't have doors on them. Some of the water bottles placed in the freezer part did freeze. These were the rental fridges, not the medical ones.
