Does anyone know if the cabins at Ft. Wilderness have a ramp? I looked at the pictures, but all I could see are stairs. We are contemplating changing our reservations from the ASM to a combined cabin (with our DD, DSIL, and DGD) at Ft. Wilderness. However, I am renting an EVC and want to make sure I can get it inside.

They have accessible cabins, which have a nice long ramp up to the front porch. If you need a ramp, you need an accessible cabin as, as you said, the standard cabins have steps up to them. I'm afraid I've never stayed in the cabins, so can't offer you any more information than that, but I'm sure someone else will come along and help out in a bit! :goodvibes

Hope that helps! :thumbsup2

They do have a ramp and are quite nice--roll in shower, etc. It has been 9 years since I stayed there, but really enjoyed it.

We stayed there once and enjoyed ourselves. Good thing you have an ECV if mobility is a challenge as the accessible cabins aren't gtd to be anywhere near the bus stop. We had a really, really long hike back to ours. Also the cabins are in the front of the Ft. Wilderness property and the dining areas/shopping are in the back so it's tough to have to sometimes take connecting busses to/from everywhere when you have to have your chair or ecv tied down. I was worn out from getting on/off the busses. Still, it's so peaceful and relaxing there and you're far removed from the action of the theme parks if you need some down time.---Kathy
