I cannot begin to tell you how much I need this trip right now! In the past few weeks, we have spent $1800 in repairs to our Yukon XL, $170 in repairs to my husband's pickup truck, not to mention getting ready to purchase a third vehicle for our 16-year-old son and seeing an increase in our auto insurance. :scared1: Now, you're probably saying with all of these unexpected expenses, shouldn't I be saying that we're not going?!? Sorry - can't do it! More than ever, I need this little vacation if for no other reason than to preserve my sanity and have something to look forward to!!! It just won't be here quick enough!:worship:

Can anyone relate?

Definitely, yes. We've had numerous "unexpected" expenses too, but that won't stop us from our Disney fix this October - in fact we recently added some time at DL next month when we go out to CA to visit the grandparents with time at the hotel! I only wish it could be next week - not next month! :rotfl:

I'm so with you there!!! I don't blame you one bit! Disney is such a stress free place!!! What day are you arriving at Pop? We fly in on August 29!!!

Us, too! (Except we're driving for the first time!:eek: ) This is a mini trip that we're surprising our kids with. We arrive on the 29th, and depart on Sept. 1st.

Disney vacations are my way of getting away from it all! Forgetting about all the nonsense in life!
I too had recent unexpected car expenses, had to buy a 3rd car so DD 17, has a safe vehicle to drive to college. Gave her my car and I got another. Now we have 3 car pmts. till Oct. when one is paid off! And insurance expense is insane since I need collission on all 3 cars!
But DH and I work full time plus we're Realtors on the side! The extra money goes to Disney trips and with the added unexpected expenses that popped up this year, I even put my economic stimulus check toward the trip.
But I always remember the saying: All work and no play.......

TRIP JUSTIFIED!
