Staying at ASMo in Nov. Given this choice, and having done neither which one should we choose? DS (13 not athletic), DS (9 plays soccer). Also, do we let CM know when we arrive, or do we need to let them know sooner? Thanks in advance!!

..to find out exactly what (sport) is going on before you visit. I'd love to check it out myself, as my DD played soccer there last summer.
I'm sorry I don't have the link, I'm sure someone does, and then you could look up the schedule and check with your family to see what they want to do. I wouldn't want to get all the way there to have no activity when you could be having fun playing miniature golf! If you go, bring a hat, it's a very wide open area; not a whole lot of shade.

Go to minature golf. There's not much to do at Sports Complex unless you are involved in some kind of competition or one of the pro or semi-pro teams are there! Your resort will ask you at check in which you would rather do.

Not sure if you'll have a car, but I had one of the WDW bus drivers tell me it was a pain to get to WWS on their bus system. If you are staying at the AS's you can walk to mini-golf with a stop at a pretty neat McDonalds along the way.

To get to WWS you'll have to take the bus to MGM and get the WWS bus. It's a bit out of your way, but if you plan for it, it will be fine. I've never been there, but I agree that you should check out the schedule to see what's going on. It seems as though they highlight certain sports at certain times. Right now, baseball is big because the Orlando minor league team plays all of their home games there.
To get to the closest miniature golf, Winter-Summerland, take the Blizzard Beach bus. The golf course is right there and it's a fun one - perfect for families.
