View Full Version : LOGO...Do you watch it?

I was just curious if any of you guys ever watch the LOGO network? Is it available in your area? What programming so you watch? I don't watch Queer As Folk or Noah's Arc as I have the DVDs. I don't watch the movies as I prefer not to watch edited films. I did follow Transamerican Love Story and I thought it was OK, but Calpernia didn't pick the guy I wanted her to choose. :confused3 I've seen some of the stand-up comedy shows (Coco Peru, Mario Cantone, Margaret Cho, etc) and what I've seen of The Big Gay Sketch Show had its LOL moments. But other than that, I don't really watch too much of it. Maybe because it's a basic cable channel and has to be severely censored for content is why it has so little appeal to me, but the fact that it exists at all is a good thing I think! So what about you...do you ever watch it and what kind of shows would you like to see on it? I believe reruns of The L Word are coming this fall...

I tune in every once in awhile. I watched a few movies that I never heard of that were very good, then ended up getting them on Netflix to see the full versions.
No too much on there though. I have QAF on DVD, so I don't watch that either.

I am glad there is a LOGO though, I just wish they had more original programming.

it means Luke & Laura fan, I'm big into the soaps, though now I guess it should be L&Nfan for Luke & Noah on ATWT! My, how times have changed!!!;) I'm new here but I already recognize your posts as being:rotfl: (PS I used to have a lot of GREAT times at CHAPS back in the day when I lived in Allston!)

We watch it on occasion, mostly to catch movies we've never seen. I'm not a big stand up comedy fan, and the Big Gay Sketch comedy is alright.

Yeah, we watch it sometimes. Most of the stuff we have seen before. The comedians are what we tend to watch most. Corey really likes the music videos.

I watch it from time to time as well. Again, mostly for the comedians or Big Gay Sketch Show (which is awfully hit or miss, but who cares as long as Paolo Andino is still on the show! Woof!) I also watched "Rick & Steve" while they were doing new episodes of that, and the travel series with Will Wykle (I'm sure I spelled his name wrong)

We use to have it when we lived in Jersey, but we don't have it now that we are in PA, unless we switch back to Direct tv, i dont think we are gonna get it out here anytime soon :(

Chaps was THE best place to dance & party back in the day!:cool1: I know it moved from where it was when I lived there ( behind the Boston Public Library). Last time I was there they were down by the Arlington T stop. Is it still open? Anybody remember Buddies or Jacques?

That seems to happen a lot anymore. I think I'm going to have to be the "hijack" police or something! I don't know how to enforce this though....that's a touchy subject...
And BTW, I always try to watch LOGO when I get the chance, they have good stand-up on there, some of the movies are good, even edited. I caught one of the Big Gay Sketch shows, eh, it was alright, it had moments, but I don't remember seeing anyone shirtless...I would remember something like that.

I miss Laura! I stopped watching when she left, but tuned in last year when she came back for a few weeks. I am glad she won the Emmy! GH needs to get her back.

As for Luke & Noah, I watched ATWT while in college, and tuned back in when Luke announced he was gay. I stopped watching that show when they brought in Amera or whatever her name is, and they dropped Martha Byrne as Lilly. I do miss my daily fix of Holden though.....

So anyway, how about that LOGO Channel....

I'm glad Genie won the Emmy too! Her return episodes were so good and yet so sad at the same time!

Luke & Noah broke up yesterday! But hopefully the intent is to rebuild them after the Ameera debacle. Thank God the ban on them kissing is officially over and they got to kiss twice before the break up, But as that old dance classic said "The best part of breaking up is when we're making up", so we fans have much to look forward to!:lovestruc

Ok so I will get back on the subject of LOGO. Yes we watch it. If the tv is just on in the background then its on LOGO. I dunno , I guess I just like something GAY playing in the house? Know what I mean? Soon one of the coming out stories featured a girl who took an Olivia cruise. We were all filmed numerous times so we want to see if we are on it.

I watch TBGSS, but my favorites are actually NewNowNext and The Click List. The comedians are good too, and I find myself watching "Bad Girls" frequently. I love the British shows :thumbsup2
