This ostrich is so funny he is always trying to find a way out he follows all the vehicles around trying every way in the world to get out.

Thanks for the pics! I have read so many concerns about the Sunset Savanna view construction is going on. That view looks great. DW and I will be in a 1 br value in 25 days! We have a savanna view requested. Looking at those pics, I hope we get it!

Great photos! I see they are still painting in that area. They were painting the exterior of the Value rooms when we were there last month.

I'm happy to see how many animals you have seen, especially little Kidani. It must be confusing for the animals when different sections of that part of the savanna are being closed off for this painting work.

What room number? We had this savanna, but we didn't see anywhere near this many animals. I am glad you are. I do love AKV's.

Thanks for the pics. In spite of all the complaints, it looks like the view is not that bad of the construction once you take the cranes out of the view.

I guess it depends on how high up you are floor-wise for your stay, but a lot of pics I have seen seem to indicate that Kidani will not be that big of an issue on your view , especially as any more of the trees grow and fill in. It seems that in the end it will blend in quite well.

Unless something changes it appears that they have done a good job of designing AKV into the surroundings.

How did you get a picture of OUR giraffe..:rotfl: That looks like the same view we had, so I bet we were in the same room in May. ( I do not remember the #). It was so nice! Thanks for the pics!

We are in room 5134.

I am glad everyone liked the pictures. They are not the best as my camera is not expensive but I thought I would post them anyway.
Yes we feel very lucky to have gotten this room but the construction starts early and you can hear it all day long.

I think it takes away from the feel of it here with all of thr construction going on.
