When i get to gatwick airport from amsterdam im landing at the north terminal but have to go to the south terminal for my virgin flight to orlando
is this a long walk?

Surely can't be as long a walk as Schiphol?:rotfl:
Seem to think, that last time I was there (last year) I walked for miles!!!!:rotfl:

I'm sure there's a train or bus between the two.

There is a 'monorail' type shuttle between north and south terminal so you should be fine :)

Inter-terminal connections
If you need to change terminal for your flight to the UK, Channel Islands, or Ireland follow Arrivals, collect baggage if necessary, and take the free automatic train which operates between North and South Terminals every three minutes – journey time two minutes. For passengers connecting onto international flights, there is a free inter-terminal bus which operates from below the flight connections areas.

yes schiphol has long walks
never want 2 weeks to go faster then these next two weeks
only have to work until the 20th
