I've noticed that favorite food entrees, desserts, etc. are rarely mentioned on this board. I am interested in any recommendations for the 4 night cruise since we sail on the WONDER Sunday. Today I've been looking over the menu at Barb's site and trying to make my choices in advance. What's great and what is to be avoided?

....the Grand Marnier Souffle dessert at Tritons. I ordered a second one it was so good. I felt soooooo decadent! ;) It's served in a tiny little souffle dish and has Grand Marnier liqueur in it. They give you a tiny pitcher of dark chocolate sauce to pour over it. Too die for!!!!
Bon Appetit!

We just returned 3-23 from the Magic. I really love the caesar salad (I believe from AP??)...Anyway, on our 4 day cruise in Feb 2000....our server was sure to bring me one each night. I mentioned this to our server this time and she said that it couldn't be done. I was somewhat dissappointed. I am a very picky, simple-food eater though...
And my favorite dessert..........the Mickey icecream bar!!! I am not a big dessert fan anyway and don't like the fancy things. They were fine to bring me the icecream bar, along with my kids!!

IMO....
Cookies BBQ was the best food of the cruise.
In AP, the Caesar salad was my favorite.
In PC, the bread(banana, maybe???) was very good and I also enjoyed the stuffed shells.

creme brulee= my favorite dessert, coconut shrimp=best appetizer, avoid the cuban ribeye entree as they can't seem to cook them right in my opinion (mine was overly rare, another person said theirs was like shoe leather). Also I really liked the lunch buffets at Parrot Cay (good salads) but have heard the lunch buffets at Topsiders were not always so good. At the Parrot Cay lunch buffets they had vanilla bean ice cream with a topping bar that was good too.
Meant to try the cheese platter from room service but never got around to it, also the room service chili if they still have it. The chicken fingers are excellent too.
Enjoyed Palo brunch better than the dinner at Palo.
p.s. we were on the 7 day, so the 4 day may have different choices, like no brunch at Palo, but I know we did have creme brulee on the 3 day Wonder.

CHAMPAGNE!!! no seriously, I liked all the different cheeses they had to sample, and my personal favorite dish was the prosciutto wrapped cantaloupe (I like odd tastes together) plus you get to order a light entree like beef tenderloin with new potatoes (I think that was the side dish) (my tablemates had that) and I had tilapia fish with asparagus risotto that was very good. It was just a very relaxing meal and we had an excellent server which can make all the difference. Our Palo dinner experience was less than perfect on the Magic I'm sorry to report, although when we had Palo dinner on the Wonder in 2000 it was great (again the server made all the difference, the food is good either way).

Remember this, Chocolate Lava Cake. Yum. I can't remember the night but it is wonderful or at least it is in my husband's opinion. Our server served him 3 on 1 plate! (he couldn't eat all of it) Kathy:D

There isn't any Palo brunch on the 4 day, just the 7 day.
I would definately have to second the sea bass, yumyumyum.
